The five mile long Sirius Star Somali Pirates dressed as characters from Pirates of the Caribbean took control of the Sirius Star in the Gulf of Aden. The super tanker visible on Google Earth it is that large had a crew of four who were taken by surprise by the Captain Jack Sparrow character whilst they were playing Yahtzee. The fifteen pirates had boarded the crude carrier not long after it left the port of Aden in Yemen but did not seize control of the vessel until eight days later as they had been forced to walk from their boarding point to the command deck some five miles away.
