STAFF AND WIRE REPORTS • November 11, 2008 Toms River East senior pitcher Lyndsey PeQueen will sign a national letter of intent today to continue her softball career at Georgian Court University, Raiders coach Debbie Schwartz said Tuesday. The right-hander went 29-2 with a 0.81 ERA and 298 strikeouts in 208 innings pitched last season, when Toms River East won the Shore Conference Tournament. In 2007, PeQueen, Ocean County's all-time wins leader with 80, earned Asbury Park Press and Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year honors after going 31-3 with a 0.53 ERA and a Shore Conference single-season record 414 strikeouts in 239 innings.
