No matter how much Mr Gudmundsson insists that we’re not for sale and in a stable condition we all know that we need a takeover to be able to compete with the likes of Aston Villa, Everton and Man City. So what would a takeover do for the good of our club? We all know that a takeover could do us a world of good; we could have a fresh start, clear our debts and also spend a bit of money. But would it really be that simple? Our expectations when Gudmundsson purchased the club were to sustain in Europe and become a big club - and look where that got us.
