Update: Jury selection on hold for Rocky Houston trial

Jury selection headed into a two-hour recess Monday morning for one of two Roane County brothers accused of fatally shooting a Roane County deputy and his ride-along. By Monday afternoon, jury selection had been put on hold until Friday morning. Rocky and Leon Houston are accused of ambushing Dep. Bill Jones and his ride-along, Mike Brown, in April of 2006. Jones and Brown were fatally shot in Jones' patrol car at the end of the Houstons' driveway. The case has been high-profile from the beginning, with the Houstons claiming self-defense from oppressive law enforcement. Some 600 potential jurors have been tapped for this case.
