Nuance Communications Inc., a provider of speech, imaging solutions and text input solutions, has announced the availability of version 7.4 of its T9 Text Input software in Oriya and Assamese. With these latest additions, Nuance's T9 Text Input software helps mobile users quickly write in 75 global languages. Oriya is an official language of India and is spoken by more than 31 million people, mainly in the state of Orissa. Oriya is written with the Oriya script. Assamese is the official language of the sate of Assam and is spoken by about 13 million people in northeast India.
