Bolton Wanderers, 09:46, November 7, 2008 Gary Megson has told Bolton loan man Ebi Smolarek he must stay patient as he targets first-team football ahead of the trip to Hull. The 27-year-old Poland international has made just one start for the Trotters, in the home defeat to Arsenal, since arriving on a season-long loan deal from Spanish club Racing Santander. And, apart from a 17-minute substitute appearance at Manchester United, Smolarek has struggled to force his way into Megson's plans at the Reebok Stadium.
