Local history documentary created by students to premiere at museum

Herald Times Reporter • November 6, 2008 MANITOWOC — The Wisconsin Maritime Museum, 75 Maritime Drive, will host the premier showing of the documentary, "History Calls: Individuals Answer — Connecting Teens with the Greatest Generation" at 2 p.m. Monday. Admission to the premier event is free. However, access to the rest of the museum's galleries, as well as tours of the USS Cobia, the museum's fully restored World War II submarine, require regular admission. Community members are invited to learn about this important time in our local history by attending the premier event. Students and staff involved with the project will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the impact this project had on their view of the importance of preserving local history.
