PARIS (AP) -Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina beat Mario Ancic of Croatia 6-0, 6-4 in the second round of the Paris Masters on Tuesday, boosting his chances of reaching next month's Masters Cup. Also, third-seeded Novak Djokovic was leading 6-2, 4-3 against Dmitry Tursunov when the Russian retired after twice needing treatment to his sore right shoulder, and 16th-seeded Gael Monfils beat Juan Monaco of Argentina 6-4, 6-4 to set up a possible match against top-ranked Rafael Nadal. Seventh-seeded Andy Roddick played Feliciano Lopez of Spain late Tuesday.
