Edge Hill shortlisted for green awards

Published Date: 14 October 2008 An eco-friendly university is hoping to scoop the green equivalent of an Oscar for its work on helping the environment. Edge Hill has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution to Sustainable Development Award in the 2008 'Oscars'of the university world. The accolade came from the Times Higher for the new eco-friendly £14m teaching and learning faculty of he alth building opened in June at the Ormskirk campus. The flagship building is described as setting the standard for sustainable buildings within the university sector.
