O'Neill rejects keeper claim

Martin O'Neill has dismissed as 'nonsense' claims made by Thomas Sorensen that he blocked several moves for the goalkeeper away from Aston Villa during the summer. The Danish keeper is currently resurrecting his career at Stoke City after being frozen out of the first-team picture at Villa Park last season. The 32-year-old made 139 Premier League starts for Villa following his £2.25million transfer from Sunderland in August 2003 but, speaking over the weekend, accused O'Neill of attempting to wreck his career.
