An MP has backed calls to tackle the situation of black and migrant women whose marraiges fail and are subject to domestic violence and left destitute on the streets. Speaking at a meeting organised by the Red Cross in Leeds Civic Hall last week, Rochdale MP Paul Rowen described the situation as a "crime against humanity" and called on the government to act.
