Thieves cut through hedge with chainsaw

Published Date: 14 October 2008 SADDLERY shop owner Ann Major has been left angry and out of pocket after a night-time raid which virtually "cleaned out" her stock. Thieves took new saddles, all of her newly-delivered winter rugs, other tack and also clothing items worth thousands of pounds from Horsetalk Saddlery in Fen Land, Pott Row. Mrs Major wants to alert horse owners that they may be offered stolen ite ms and if they are suspicious to contact the police. Although she lives on the site Mrs Major said that she heard nothing between locking up the shop at around 6.30pm on Saturday, October 4, and when she opened up again next morning.
