ITT wins NASA contract

Washington Business Journal - by has extended its support of NASA’s communications networks and won a space communications network services contract, which has a potential value of $1.26 billion. The White Plains, N.Y.-based engineering and manufacturing company will perform telemetry, tracking and command services for near-Earth missions. Work will be performed by ITT’s Herndon-based Advanced Engineering & Sciences business unit and its Colorado Springs, Colo.-based division. The contract has a base period of performance of five years and three months, with two one-year option periods.
