Aligarh Muslim University on expansion mode

Aligarh Muslim University is planning to set up five regional centres in the country, including one in Malappuram. Its Vice-Chancellor P.K. Abdul Azis talks to G. KRISHNAKUMAR about the development. Aligarh Muslim University(AMU), a premier higher educational institution in the country, is expanding its horizons. For the first time in its history, the university is getting ready to set up regional campuses in five centres—Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Pune (Maharashtra), Murshidabad (West Bengal), Malappuram (Kerala) and Katihar(Bihar).
