Event to be open to public on the final day on October 18 HYDERABAD: Ilyushin-114, regional turboprop plane and several other aircraft including Bell helicopter 412, landed at the Begumpet airport on Monday to take part in the four-day ‘India Aviation 2008’, beginning here on October 15. The world’s largest passenger aircraft, A380, is expected to be the star attraction at the event which will be inaugurated by Minister for Civil Aviation Praful Patel. The double-deck jetliner will touch down at the Begumpet airport at 12 noon on October 16. The aircraft which can cover three-fourths of a football ground, will be on static display on that day and depart in the early hours of October 17.
