A&E Dispatch: FODfest, an annual concert tour which celebrates the life of late Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, will be at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle, Monday, Oct. 20. FODfest is coming to Seattle. The annual concert tour celebrates the life of late Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and murdered by terrorists in Pakistan in 2002. In addition to being a journalist, Pearl was a classically trained violinist who played different instruments and regularly sought out jam sessions. He believed that music could bring people of different backgrounds together. And so the festival features many of the musicians who jammed with Pearl. In fact, FOD stands for "Friends of Danny."
