Missing items: David and Victoria Beckham, pictured in 2006 outside their Sawbridgeworth mansion, called police in when their belongings turned up for sale on a website A couple who worked as housekeepers at David Beckham's Hertfordshire mansion have been arrested for theft, it was revealed. The alarm was raised by the parents of his wife Victoria who saw items for sale on an auction website which were identical to property at the estate. They went to the Beckhams' home in Sawbridgeworth, known as Beckingham Palace, found the same things were missing and called police. Hertfordshire police said a 56-year-old woman and a man, 55, had been arrested at home in Nazeing, Essex, in connection with a theft in Sawbridgeworth and released on bail.
