UK lower mid-market private equity firm Bowmark Capital has appointed two new investment profeesionals. Julian Masters has joined the firm as a partner and Tom Shelford as an investment director. Masters most recently worked at European Capital, where he was a founding member and director of the UK buy-out team. Masters began his private equity career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the transaction services group, and subsequently became a director of Credit Suisse Private Equity/DLJ Merchant Banking. Shelford joins Bowmark from Nomura Private Equity, where he was an associate focusing on mid-market investments in the UK business services sector.
