Clare Farmers To Benefit From Extension Of Slurry Spreading Deadline Monday, 13 October 2008 - Clare farmers unable to spread slurry on their land due to the poor weather conditions of recent months have been buoyed by the news that the slurry-spreading deadline has been extended until the end of October. The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Department, following consultation with the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, announced the exceptional measure this week.
