The World Cup starts in Australia on 25 October. The structure of the tournament looks complicated on first glance but has been designed to ensure an intense and exciting competition. The 10 teams are split into three groups. The big four of host nation Australia, New Zealand, England and Papua New Guinea are in Pool One and three teams will qualify for the semi-final stage.
