By PA Sport Staff Nicky Richards was quick to hail new stable jockey Davy Condon after he steered Glingerbank to victory in the Champagne Lanson Handicap Chase at Carlisle. Condon, who switched to the Greystoke yard following the retirement of Tony Dobbin, gave Richards' 9-2 joint-favourite a strong ride to see off fellow market leader Some Touch. The latter took up the running at the fourth last and was still travelling well while Glingerbank was giving chase but under pressure and a couple of lengths down. However, Condon kept persevering and having gradually closed the gap, Glingerbank got his head in front just after the last and stuck to his task to prevail by one and a half lengths.
