Published on: . by Donna Sealy The Barbados Accreditation Council has not come across many bogus qualifications and institutions, but is keeping an eye out for them. Accreditation officer Pamela Dottin told SATURDAY SUN: "What we've had are some qualifications where persons would have gone to institutions and the institutions would have said [the qualification] is equivalent to three "A" levels and when we did the research we realised it was equivalent to one or two, so we've not had bogus bogus, but we've had miscommunication." Dottin was interviewed after the opening of a four-day workshop entitled Preparing for Accreditation, for post-secondary and tertiary institutions and training providers at Grand Barbados Hotel, Aquatic Gap, St Michael.
