Search On For Men Suspected In Up To 25 Robberies

POSTED: 9:09 pm PDT October 10, 2008 SAN JOSE, Calif. -- On Friday, San Jose Police identified two men who allegedly held up a liquor store at gunpoint Tuesday and led law enforcement on a chase from San Jose to East Palo Alto and announced that the men are suspected of being involved in up to 25 robberies throughout the Bay Area. Jaray Washington, 26, and Warren Jordan, 21, are both known to have connections with a criminal street gang in East Palo Alto, according to San Jose police Officer Enrique Garcia. The two are suspected of robbing around 20 to 25 liquor and convenience stores throughout the Bay Area, including 16 in San Jose. In many cases the men assault store clerks and customers as they rob the stores, Garcia said. He described both of them as "very dangerous." Both are described as black men with black hair and...
