A GROUP of Bolivians claiming to be on holiday were denied entry in to Britain when the only tourist attraction they could name was Big Ben. The 10-strong party were interviewed by UK Border Agency officers after landing at Manchester Airport. Officers' suspicions were aroused when they realised the group had each spent about £2,500 on the trip - the equivalent of four months wages in Bolivia. Only one of the group spoke English and they were unable to provide an itinerary, other than to say they wanted to visit the London landmark. They were detained overnight before being flown back to Santa Cruz the next day.
