Duck stamp entries await seal of approval

The Federal Duck Stamp art contest of 2008 is being held in Bloomington -- the first time it's been held in Minnesota. An interactive map of bridges that are "structurally deficient," "functionally obsolete" or have gusset plates like those on the I-35W bridge. IF YOU GO What: The Federal Duck Stamp art contest will run through Oct. 18. Most events are open to the public and free. Where: Contest art is on display in the lobby of the Bloomington Center for the Arts at 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road, in the same complex as City Hall. The lobby is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 10 p.m. And the winner is ...
