Duck stamp entries await seal of approval

The Federal Duck Stamp art contest of 2008 is being held in Bloomington -- the first time it's been held in Minnesota. An interactive map of bridges that are "structurally deficient," "functionally obsolete" or have gusset plates like those on the I-35W bridge. IF YOU GO What: The Federal Duck Stamp art contest will run through Oct. 18. Most events are open to the public and free. Where: Contest art is on display in the lobby of the Bloomington Center for the Arts at 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road, in the same complex as City Hall.
