Pilot uninjured when small plane lands in harbor

By CLYNTON NAMUO New Hampshire Union Leader Correspondent 15 minutes ago RYE – A Hampton pilot walked, or rather swam, away from a plane crash unharmed last night after his single-engine aircraft lost power and crashed into Rye Harbor, authorities said. Likewise, the 1956 Champion 7EC was completely intact when it was pulled from the water. "It hit, but very controlled," said Portsmouth resident Carol Raffenello, who said she watched as the aircraft slowly descend and clipped the water.
