Swimming and Diving Opens 2008-2009 Season

ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio swimming and diving team began its 2008-2009 season with its annual Green and White Intra-squad Meet Friday evening at the Ohio Aquatic Center. The White team defeated the Green team, 130-82. "The intra-squad signifies the beginning of the competition season, so whether we had a fantastic performance or a less-than-fantastic performance, that's your starting point and you've got to put it in perspective and I feel like we're starting at a pretty good point," Ohio head coach Greg Werner said.
