From Alan Carr and James Corden to Dara O'Brien, we meet the new kings of comedy

There's no avoiding them. Turn on your TV and they are everywhere - a new breed of funnymen who've taken up residence in every sitcom, sketch show and panel game. But who are they? Enlarge James Corden & Mathew Horne Corden, 30, is single and lives in London. Horne, his Gavin & Stacey co-star, is also 30, and is dating The Whip singer Fiona Daniel. He divides his time between London and Nottingham. The sitcom was written by Corden along with Ruth Jones, who plays Nessa in Gavin & Stacey. Horne was discovered by Catherine Tate at the Edinburgh Festival, and went on to not only star in her award-winning BBC show - he played the part of the long-suffering grandson of Tate's 'Nan' - but also wrote for it, too.
