Man charged with making obscene calls to police

PORTSMOUTH – A Maine man was arrested for making repeated obscene phone calls to the police department. Peter D. Dubois, 44, of 309 Caris Landing, Old Orchard Beach, on Wednesday turned himself into police who obtained warrants for his arrest on 41 counts of harassment, all class A misdemeanors. Beginning in November 2007, Dubois allegedly made progressively more profane telephone calls to the department's emergency dispatch center.
