Who hit teen in head with shot put?

A wild pitch isn't all that unusual in baseball, but it's a rarity in shot putting. A Richmond high school student who was seriously injured when he was hit in the head by a shot putter's errant toss is seeking something more than an apology from the off-target athlete. The student has gone to court to learn the girl's name because he may sue, according to a document filed recently in McHenry County Circuit Court. The accident happened April 24 at Richmond-Burton Community High School, where Mathew Glavin was measuring the length of shot tosses at a track and field event. An unidentified girl from the opposing school, Huntley High School, entered the shot put area to practice.
