From staff, wire reports For The Register-Herald WHEELING — Wyoming East’s Evan Muscari made a mad dash from the brink only to come a lipped-out putt from a playoff at the state golf tournament at Oglebay Park’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Course Wednesday. In finishing second, Muscari was named to the Class AA all-state team, along with Shady Spring’s Adam Perry, who finished fifth. “No,” Muscari said when asked if he was satisfied with the result, considering he was six shots back of eventual champion Harry Howell of Scott entering Wednesday’s final round. “Is it an accomplishment? Yes. But am I satisfied? No.” The final round was played on a rainy, windy, cold afternoon.
