Chevron Donates $500,000 to Support California Firefighting Efforts

SAN RAMON, Calif., Oct. 8, 2008 – Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) announced today that it has donated $500,000 to the State of California's Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) to help support the cost of battling the state's severe wildfires this year.
