Former Hull and Wigan forward Scott Logan was the only survivor from the last World Cup in the 24-man Scotland squad named for this year's tournament. The 32-year-old prop, who played all three of his country's matches in 2000, was with Sydney Roosters at the time but is now at Canberra, where the Scots play their opening match. Logan is one of six Australian-based players, including winger Michael Robertson, who scored a hat-trick of tries in Manly's 40-0 Grand-Final win over Melbourne on Sunday.
