SP plans pact with RJD, LJP in Bihar

BY MANISH ANAND New Delhi Oct. 2: The Samajwadi Party is all set to enter into electoral arrangements with Lalu Prasad Yadav-led RJD and Ram Vilas Paswan-led LJP for not encroaching into each other’s political domain. The alliance among these three parties is fast taking place to consolidate each other’s political constituencies, whereby their leaders will jointly campaign during the polls. Ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for early 2009, the SP is reported to have reached an agreement with the RJD and LJP on not fielding candidates.
