The All Black coaching staff has shared their tentative selection thoughts with members of New Zealand's five Super 14 coaching set-ups. Head coach Graham Henry is close to confirming his 35-strong touring party, which will be picked on October 26, the day after the Air New Zealand Cup final. The squad will then fly out of New Zealand on October 27 for Hong Kong, scene of the November 1 Bledisloe Cup test. It is understood the All Black selectors have opted for a 20 forward and 15 backs split. That means five locks and five props will make the cut. It is a move which opens the way for the likes of Jeremy Thrush and possibly Jamie Mackintosh to earn their first All Black call-up.
