By The Associated Press CHEYENNE - All three candidates for Wyoming's seat in the U.S. House say they oppose the financial bailout bill as it was written. The U.S. House on Monday defeated the Bush administration's $700 billion proposal to stem the financial crisis. President Bush and leaders of the House and Senate worked Tuesday to sweeten the bill with changes that could win over skeptical lawmakers. Republican Cynthia Lummis, a former state lawmaker and state treasurer, said she would have voted against the bill. She said it needed to do more to protect Main Street banks, responsible borrowers and other everyday Americans. "Congress should stay in Washington until they find a better solution," Lummis said in a release, adding that she was confident that would happen.
