Baldor sees 3Q earnings shortfall, completes sale

FORT SMITH, Ark. - Electric motor and generator maker Baldor Electric Co. said Monday it expects its third-quarter earnings to remain flat, and to miss Wall Street expectations. In the year-ago quarter, Baldor earned 54 cents per share. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters, on average, expect earnings of 61 cents per share on revenue of $506.8 million. Chief Executive John A.
