Predator in Armagh: Man’s ‘predator’ status from Butler conviction

By BERNIE HORNICK The Tribune-Democrat Richard M. Vavro was charged in April 2002 with statutory sex assault, corruption of minors and other offenses involving a teen-age boy. Butler police said the relationship came to light when juvenile probation discovered that a child under the agency’s care, who was then 16, had received graphic letters from Vavro.
