Lawsuit provides medical funding

A lawsuit settlement on Sept. 11 provided the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine with $3.4 million to use toward medical research. The money Marshall's medical school received was from an unclaimed settlement over the diabetes drug Rezulin. The Warner-Lambert Co. and Parke-Davis case was a class-action lawsuit in 2007, and the unclaimed money was distributed between West Virginia University and Marshall...
