Utahns hurt by rush to ethanol: Corn prices mean turkey plant will close, lay off 500

Sep. 21--MORONI -- Managers at a Sanpete County plant that processes 5 million turkeys for consumption each year say they, their workers and their families are unintended victims of the nation's rush to turn U.S. corn crops into ethanol.
