Man arrested for making U.S. film downloadable before Japan release

Police arrested Thursday a man from Sendai city for allegedly making the Hollywood movie ''Wanted'' available on the Internet for download before the film's general release in Japan on Saturday. Kazushi Hirata, 33, is suspected of violating the copyright law for making the film, believed to include Japanese subtitles, downloadable by users of the file-sharing software Winny.
