Conference is the hottest ticket in town thanks to Plaid poll successes

Aug 21 2008 by Martin Shipton, Western Mail PLAID Cymru faces such high demand for its annual conference that groups are sharing tables in order to be seen there, according to the party’s chief executive. The party, which is holding its yearly gathering in Aberystwyth next month, is turning organisations away from holding fringe meetings and taking stands because they have been fully booked for weeks. Senior figures are now considering doubling the length of Plaid’s spring get-together because of the heightened interest in its conferences.
