Former OSU wrestler Daniel Cormier hospitalized, likely out of Olympics

Former OSU wrestler Daniel Cormier suffered what doctors called kidney failure in Beijing and has been hospitalized, according to a newspaper report. During a phone interview with the Lafayette (La.) Advertiser from his hospital bed in Beijing, Cormier said he would likely not compete. “My wish is to (wrestle), but something drastic has to happen in the next hour,” Cormier told the newspaper on Thursday.
