India have pulled level in their five-match one-day series with Sri Lanka with a three-wicket victory in Dambulla. The tourists chose to field first and dismissed the Sri Lankans for just 142 - something of a recovery after they had been reduced to 11-4 by Zaheer Khan's four-wicket burst. Thilan Thushara top-scored for the hosts with a rapid 44 but it was the bowlers who dominated, with Zaheer (4-21) the pick of the bunch. Praveen Kumar took 3-34 while Harbhajan Singh snared two victims. India lost wickets throughout their reply but Mahendra Dhoni hit 39 and debutant Subramaniam Badrinath sealed it with a patient unbeaten 27.
