Ex-police man's laundering case

David Lloyd did not enter a plea at the hearing A retired police officer has appeared at Bristol magistrates court charged with money laundering and misusing police information. David Lloyd, 53, a retired South Wales Police officer, allegedly hid criminal cash in his Bridgend home. He did not enter pleas and will appear at Bristol crown court on 1 December with co-defendant and former colleague Phillip Jones, who is also retired. A third man had also already appeared in court charged with fraud offences. Coolbox Mr Lloyd allegedly hid the money in a cool box in his attic. He faces three charges - one of money laundering and two of conspiracy to commit misconduct in a public office by misusing police information.
