Bartlett, TN -- Ten students, one instructor and many generous hearts from the National College of Business and Technology in Bartlett, gave the gift of education to Brian Teigland’s family, Monday, August 11, 2008. For their final project, an English class at the college decided to collect money for the Teigland Family Trust Fund. Meteorologist Brian Teigland, our beloved friend and colleague passed away July 25, 2008. The English class decided they wanted to collect money so his three children could attend college; especially since they are in the middle of college themselves. By the end of the semester, the students had collected $266 to give to the Teigland Family Trust Fund. They presented it to one of Brian’s best friends and co-workers, Meteorologist Mark Walden.
