News Type: Opinion — Sun Aug 10, 2008 8:27 AM EDT The current administration is about to be voted out of office and it is about time to look back on the "achievements" of this administration. The central theme for the last years certainly has been the war on terror, so how did if affect us, what has it done to the soldiers, and what has it done to those in US custody. As far as the US goes, one probably can argue that the several trillions the US is paying for this war on terror is reflected economically, leaving more people to struggle to make a living. It also presented the US with numerous laws that could be argued to take away rights for citizens.
