The last week has been emotional – we've been on such a high after the series win. It was difficult to get our feet back on the ground for The Oval and we could all have done with a few more days to settle down and build up again. On Thursday we didn't bat with the same discipline we have had throughout the series, which can happen when the series has gone and you come off such a high, but England bowled well. I still felt tired in my first innings after the emotional and mental drain. I put so much into that hundred at Edgbaston because of the importance of it and it was hard to pick myself up again with the matches so close together. It was a difficult day to bat because the ball swung around and I found it tough to get back into that zone, but I still managed 40-odd. I know I'm not going to repeat what I did at Edgbaston...
