WASHINGTON (AP) - Elizabeth Edwards says her husband, John, confessed to her two years ago that he'd had an affair with a woman who made web videos for his presidential campaign. In a statement given to The Associated Press, Elizabeth Edwards says she and John decided to go public now because of tabloid stories suggesting that John was spending time with Rielle (RY'-lee) Hunter's child born earlier this year. The Edwards say the child was not fathered by John. Elizabeth Edwards says it wasn't easy finding out about the affair, but she says the healing process was "oddly made somewhat easier" after she was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago March.
