For the moment, three of the Golden Age Swedes are the hot topic; Sundin, Naslund and Forsberg. We Swedes still love to gossip about our old hero generation, and this summer is no exception. Where are their future? Well, Sean Avery got a loud mouth, but sometimes he got a point. No Wade Redden isn’t a bad buy, but Markus Naslund is, for both parts. Rangers were looking to replace Jagr, so they do it the only way they know; use lots of money and buy an aged starplayer who’s best days lay behind him. The problem is, Naslund is not even in his best days a Jaromir Jagr. Not even in his Leaster B Pearson performance can he be compared with Jagr.
